Invitation Message from the Dean

Welcome to NIDA Business School and I invite you to participate in the third NIDA International Business Conference 2018. This conference is an opportune venue by which to incubate and stimulate the development and cooperation between NIDA Business School and scholars, researchers, leaders, decisions makers and students from within Thailand and around the world.

NIDA Business School was established in 1966, following the inception of the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) on April 1. 1966. NIDA was conceived and developed by His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and His Majesty the King's discussions of the country’s development with Mr. David Rockefeller of the Rockefeller Foundation of the United States of America, in 1963, for the purpose of concentrating exclusively on graduate studies in fields related to national development.

The School has developed over the years to enlarge its purpose to include the region, in light of AEC and globalization. It was AACSB accredited in 2013 and now has a core faculty comprised of greater than 95% having Doctorate degrees; with all faculty members having obtained their degrees from AACSB accredited schools.

Through its international network development, the school has been able to create links for the cross flow of knowledge to support its mission. For this, we thank our entire network of partners for our success and hope you can join us for this year's conference with the theme of "Dealing with Disruption".

All basic elements of our school: newly renovated and upgraded smart classrooms and learning facilities (in 2017), alumni, students, academic and business networks, curriculum, accreditation make us proud to be one of the leading business schools in Thailand.

As the best established business school in Thailand, we are welcoming prospective participants to the third NIDA International Business Conference 2018.

Invitation Message from the Conference Chair

With great pleasure, I would like to invite you to attend the third NIDA International Business Conference 2018, in Bangkok, Thailand. This conference bears the theme of “Dealing with Disruption”, as many researchers, managers, and entrepreneurs are facing challenges and opportunities in adopting the emerging business model and information technologies.

We would like to invite, not only academics and scholars but also business leaders, practitioners and promising students worldwide to attend to extend related existing theories, explore innovative business philosophies, identify key trends in disruptive technologies, identify risks and impact of technological changes on business, Management and the related fields.

It is a goal of the conference to have an impact on organizations becoming better and more efficient for AEC and globalization. Through the creation and assembly of practical knowledge as well as through contributions to the body of research knowledge (e.g. enhancing management efficiency, professionalizing businesses and business sectors/clusters, stimulating innovation, creating the frameworks for efficient flow of data for decisions, attracting investments, and through studies of clusters) and in having an effective process for delivering this information to decision makers, they will thus be in a better position to make decisions that lead to the long-term sustainability of their organizations and for business sector development.

We are preparing an exciting program of keynote speakers from various fields and would like to have the conference serve as a get together where leading academics, business leaders, practitioners and students can share their ideas and experiences to help each other in their careers and businesses.

We warmly invite researchers, practitioners and project managers, business leaders, educators to present and/or attend the third NIDA International Business Conference 2018.

We look forward to meeting you at the conference.
